Office Manager/Bookkeeper

The Vine UMC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full Time – Office Manager/Bookkeeper 

A financially minded team player with experience in organizing and managing day to day office functions to join our staff. You will work closely with the pastor, daycare director, other staff and leadership within the congregation.

Job Summary:

The Office Manager is 32-40 hour per week position, a traditional office schedule, responsible for the daily administrative functions of the Church and daycare including but not limited to invoices and billing, payroll and benefits.  This position supports the ministerial staff and church ministries, along with responsibility for all the general business requirements of the church.

Qualifications/Requirements:

An Associate’s Degree or equivalent with at least 5-years experience with knowledge in payroll, accounting, budgeting, and administrative support is required.  Computer literacy is required.  Requires effective oral and written communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations.  Requires excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
