WNCC Fishin’ Hole
The Conference Resource Center
The WNCC Fishin’ Hole is here to loan resources to United Methodist churches in the Western North Carolina Conference. Our mission is to provide “a deep well of engaging, relevant books and media supporting the mission of the local church in making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
The Fishin’ Hole materials are managed and supported by Surpass Support, a system often used in public schools and libraries. The online catalog: http://wncc.mysurpass.net/ is open to all for browsing, either by subject, author or title. The Explore tab, lists of topics, new resources, and popular resources help to narrow down the search.
The Surpass App, Library Trek, for Androids, iPhones, iPads or Tablets, makes the catalog even more accessible.
If you would like to be able to make reservations straight from the catalog or the app, you will need a Patron ID and Password. Please fill out the form below, and the information will be emailed to you. Reservations may also be made by phone: 800-562-7929 / 704-535-2260, or email: email@example.com

In addition to exciting informational and faith-challenging DVD studies, enlightening books, and curriculum for Sunday school classes, Vacation Bible School and Run for God. The Fishin’ Hole has two 24 foot canvas labyrinths that have been used by churches for short-term events, including spiritual retreats, programs on prayer, youth retreats, Lenten programs, Advent programs, and even VBS. For more information or to make a reservation, contact the Fishin’ Hole.
The WNCC Annual Conference approved the new budget which included operating expenses for The Fishin’ Hole. For the first time, there will be no subscription fees for Western NC churches beginning in January, 2017!
If your church does not have a subscription that covers the rest of 2016, the cost is only $25 through December! Contact Sonja Clough for more info: firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-800-562-7929 / 704-535-2260.
